What we do - EHR INTEGRATION

TnHIE works with you and your EHR vendor to implement an interface that allows health information to flow seamlessly between your EHR and the HIE, providing crucial medical data to the right providers at the right place at the right time, allowing your patients to receive the treatment they need.  The data flow can be either unidirectional or bidirectional, depending on your information needs.

TnHIE participants are expected to share data with other participants through the HIE for the benefit of the patient.  Health information exchange helps facilitate coordinated patient care, reduces duplicate tests, and supports safer clinical decisions, all of which improve the quality of patient care.
